Beautiful double blue, one of the first lilacs I planted in my first garden, along with 'Ludwig Spaeth'.  The name means 'Hope' in Russian. Mid-season. Kolesnikov pre-1974. Grows 8-12' H x 6-8' W. Syringa vulgaris 'Nadezhda'
