Pinkish buds open to very pale pink to whitish flowers.  Small round leaves are leathery and a beautiful shade of dark green.  Slow grower and will stay more compact.  I love this recent introduction and have it planted in a semi-circular border behind my pool with 'Palibin'.  Introduced by and named after Professor Owen Rogers of the University of New Hampshire.  This cultivar is not registered yet.  Not widely available commercially, and very limited supply here!  Grows 3-4' H x 2-3' W.  Syringa patula 'Owen Rogers'
